We help businesses think bigger and run lighter, together.

Tomoni is an independent AI consultancy. We help businesses work out where AI genuinely makes them more efficient, and build it in where it does.

What we do

What we do.

We work in three stages. First, we find the jobs that are costing your business time and money, from the admin to the customer enquiries. Then we automate the ones worth fixing. After that, we look after them, so they keep working as your business grows.

Assess

Opportunity assessment

Ten working days immersed in your operation, alongside the people who do the work. We unpack how the business runs day to day: the bottlenecks, the roadblocks, and the jobs that quietly eat the hours. You receive a written case for what to change, in what order, and what each improvement is worth in pounds.

  • Opportunity and cost mapping, task by task
  • A figure against every finding
  • The list of what to leave alone
Build

Improvements, built and proven

Each improvement is built one at a time and tested on your own live cases before anything goes into service, so nobody is asked to trust a demonstration. Your team are shown exactly how it works. We connect to the software you already run wherever we can.

  • Tested on your real cases first
  • Handover to the people who will use it
  • Connected to what you already run

Ongoing operation and support

An improvement is only valuable if it is still working next year, when nobody is thinking about it. We host, monitor, maintain and improve it as your business changes, and report every month on what it delivered, in hours and in pounds.

Not a business run by AI. A business that runs better because of it.

Most teams have started using AI already, in their own way and on their own initiative, and most of the people running those businesses carry a quiet suspicion that everyone else is further ahead. The honest position is simpler. The business itself is unchanged, with the same headcount, the same margin and the same processes, and that is exactly where the gain is waiting.

The aim is a more effective business, measured in time and in cost: fewer hours on work that repeats, a lower cost for each job done, and the same people spending more of their day on the work they are good at. AI is the means, not the point. It is used where the figure justifies it, built into the way the work is done, and left out where a person’s judgement is the service.

The research

What the research says.

None of these figures are ours. They are published research, each one sourced, and together they describe the gap we work in: most businesses believe AI matters, and most do not yet have a plan for it.

The speed of the first reply is where the enquiry money sits: a study of 3.5 million enquiries found conversion 391% higher when the call back came within a minute rather than later.

It is an estimate built from four numbers and sector assumptions, each one shown in the working, so treat it as a pointer rather than a promise. An assessment counts the real thing: ten working days inside the business, every recurring task measured, a figure against every finding, and the list of what to leave alone.

Each began the same way: a sense that the day was being spent on the wrong things.

A new course built from the qualification specification

Each new qualification took around 400 hours to write and build by hand. We built a tailored course from the Ofqual specification, in an LMS designed with the centre, with video, guided learning, assessments and quizzes. The centre’s own time went on reviewing and signing it off.

    How we work

    Four clear stages.

Nothing is built before you have seen the figure for it. Where we can, we work with the systems you already have; where one would need to change, you hear it from us before anything starts.

      Assess

Ten working days, one fixed fee

We immerse ourselves in your business to understand how it really operates day to day: how customers arrive, how work is delivered, where it slows, and where the hours leak away without anyone quite noticing. Every recurring task is measured, the bottlenecks and roadblocks are named, and the cost of the current way of working is set out in pounds. The report highlights where the gaps are, where AI can practically help, and what should be left exactly as it is.

      Build

      A few weeks per improvement

We build each improvement one at a time, so the first time your team see it, it already works. They are shown how it works, what it does not do, and who to call. It is built around your existing systems wherever possible, measured against the figure in the report, and every record it touches remains yours, with full access.

      Ongoing, month by month

The improvement becomes part of how the business runs, and stops needing your attention. We host and monitor it, resolve faults by the next working day, and continue to improve it as the business changes. Each month you receive a single page showing what it delivered, in hours and in pounds, measured the same way as at the outset. There is no lock-in: thirty days’ notice ends the arrangement, your data always stays with you, and after a year the system itself is yours to keep.

    What we build

    Four areas of work.

    Our story

    Inspired to help other businesses.

Tomoni AI is an AI consultancy that grew out of running businesses rather than advising them. Tom Williams has run his own businesses for more than ten years, currently a training provider and a product brand, and for all of that time carried the administrative load every business carries: the work done by hand, after the work that earns the money, in the hours that were meant for something else.

The first systems were built for those businesses. Enrolments that create their own records. A weekly summary of what is owed and what is due. An inbox that sorts itself before anyone opens it. They removed the repetitive work and, more importantly, they were still doing so months later without anyone’s attention.

Tomoni brings the same approach to other businesses, whatever their size or sector: the admin and repetitive work automated one improvement at a time, with the figure established before anything is built. The name is Japanese, 共に, meaning together. It describes the arrangement. We work alongside the people who run the business.
