This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking of any kind. The calculator works entirely in your browser: the numbers you type into it are never sent to us, or to anyone else, and they are gone when you leave the page. If you switch between light and dark, that choice is saved in your own browser so the page remembers it. It is never sent to us.
The site is hosted by GitHub, and the typeface is loaded from Google Fonts. Like any web server, both see your device’s IP address when they send you the page. We cannot see it and we receive nothing from them.
If you email, call or book a conversation, we keep your name, contact details and what you tell us about your business, so we can reply and prepare. Bookings are made through Google Calendar, and our email runs on Google Workspace. Our reason for using this information is to take the steps you have asked for before any agreement.
We sometimes email businesses we think we could help, using contact details the business publishes on its own website. We only do this where the law allows it, and every email tells you how to say no. If you reply asking us to stop, we will add you to a short do-not-contact list so it does not happen again. Our reason is our legitimate interest in telling businesses about a service relevant to them.
During an assessment and afterwards we handle information about your business, and sometimes about your staff and customers. How that information is used, where it is stored, who else processes it and when it is deleted are set out in our client agreement, which you see and sign before any work begins.
If we talk but do not work together, we delete your details after twelve months. Client records are kept for six years after our work ends, because tax law requires it. Do-not-contact details are kept for as long as they are needed to honour your request.
Nobody, apart from the services named on this page, which act on our instructions. We never sell or share your information, and we never use it to train AI models.
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, delete it or stop using it. Email [email protected] and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
